Azada announces 1% for the Planet Partnership
April 14, 2020.
To mark the upcoming Earth Day, Azada has proudly joined 1% for the Planet pledging to donate a minimum of 1% of all sales revenue to support non-profit environmental and social organisations focused on sustainability.
Setting up a company using traditional forms of harvesting and environmental integrity has always been at the forefront of our founder Kevin’s mind. Azada is already a member of various European Union organisations that focuses on our ecosystem. Making the decision to become a member of 1% for the Planet was an intentional decision that complements the brand, but more importantly, inspires others to live in balance with nature and support a company like Azada that has a strong commitment to investing in sustainability efforts.
“At Azada, we are committed to sustainable business practices that benefit our community and the planet. 1% for the Planet is a trusted resource for like-minded businesses to come together to make a larger environmental impact. We’re excited to be part of a global network.” says Kevin, Founder of Azada.
To date over $225 million has been raised for non-profits worldwide. There are around 10 nonprofits and NGOs in the area already benefiting from this effort. Azada will support some of those local organisations.
“Our business was founded on the principles of sustainability and our love for the environment. We believe in natural, unprocessed ingredients and whenever possible source our ingredients from certified-organic farms and also place great emphasis on cruelty-free practices. Further, we use sustainable packaging materials to minimise our carbon footprint,” added Kevin.
